Flemington Fair Speedway ” Modified Country U.S.A.”, a Famous Big Block Venue for many decades. The venue opened in 1915 as a 1/2 Mile Dirt Oval, but in 1966 it was changed to the famous 5/8 Mile “Squared Circle” layout that made Flemington Fair Speedway the premier Tri-State Saturday night track with huge car counts in all three weekly divisions. Flemington Speedway was the home for many of the top drivers in the North East Modifieds in the 50’s through early 90’s and always attracted the rest of the HotShoes from the Tri-State area for the special events throughout the year, till the decision to pave the track started the slow decline of the famous venue. Closing its gates in 2002, then demolished in 2005 for new construction ( A sad day in dirt racing history and a seemingly new trend for dirt tracks), Open Header Motorsports is bringing it back from its death to all its glory and rightful place as Modifed County USA. The track will be released with the premier of the OHM Big Blocks sometime in 2010.
